Howard Sewell retired in 2021 after 36 years in the insurance risk mitigation field. After graduating from The University of Oklahoma with a Microbiology Degree, Howard joined Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Dallas, TX as a Field Loss Prevention Consultant.
Over three decades, Howard worked as a field consultant, working with major companies to help them reduce the risk of loss and prevent accidents. Howard also served as a Training Director for the SW, developing and presenting loss prevention training programs to educate customers and consultants on strategies to reduce the risk of accidents. Over the last seven years of his career, Howard managed a team of consultants in the SW.
Howard is proud of many accomplishments in his career, particularly as an Employee of the Year in 1995. He derived much joy from the success of his customers achieving safety milestones and the promotions of the consultants he managed.
Howard lives in OKC with his wife Emily and they share three adult male children. He and his wife love to travel, volunteer at their church and in the community. Howard has recently joined the Insurance Board and enjoys contributing his expertise and helping organizations stay safe.
