The ministry is in a historic building that was constructed in the 1800s.

The initial reason for installing water sensors was a sprinkler failure that caused significant water damage to the sanctuary. Insurance Board contacted our church, requesting that we install water sensors. The installation process was straightforward: the sensors were mailed, and a technician arrived to set everything up. The most challenging part was keeping track of the sensors until the technician arrived.

I didn’t think the sensors were necessary until one Thursday afternoon, about 10 minutes before 4 PM, when I received an email notifying me that there was water in the building. I checked the sensor to find out which building was affected and went over right away to investigate. If I hadn’t received that email, I would have gone home, and the water would have continued flowing until the next day. The sensors proved to be very helpful.
