Insurance Board’s property insurance policy covers main church buildings as well as any attached or detached buildings on church property. This typically includes schools, sheds, parsonages, event centers, and more. (This policy also includes coverage for assets owned by your faith-based organization.)

- $5,000 sub-limit on backup of sewers in Zones A & V
- Automatic Agreed Amount – no co-insurance
- Boiler & machinery coverage automatically included
- Broad range of optional property coverage for churches that need it including transit and fine arts
- Building ordinance protection – demolition and increased cost of construction coverage and limit
- Business income limit including extra expense, rental, and tuition income
- Limits available up to $250,000 for employee dishonesty and money & securities
- Newly acquired property for 180 days and up to $1,000,000
- Unintentional underinsurance up to 115%
- “Upgrade to Green” extra dollars for rebuilding with environmentally-friendly material
From the initial notification of roof damage online, timely appointments to evaluate the damage all went well. Temporary roof repairs were authorized and the adjuster and roofer communicated to ensure all damage was covered. Roofing replacement will not start until warmer weather but the interior repair will start immediately.
The first payment has been received and we are expecting all to go well until the roof is completely repaired and final payment is received. All Insurance Board employees, Insurance Adjusters, Insurance Agent employees have been most helpful.
