TULIP Event Insurance
Protect your ministry from unexpected risks with the Tenants & Users Liability Insurance Program (TULIP) from Insurance Board.
What Is TULIP Insurance for Churches?
TULIP (Tenants & Users Liability Insurance Program) is a type of church event insurance that provides liability coverage for the church as well as outside groups or vendors using church property for a temporary or recurring event. Churches often require insurance coverage as part of their church facility rental insurance requirements to help reduce liability risks associated with non-church activities.
The policy is purchased by the event organizer or renter. Unlike standard event insurance, TULIP is specifically designed for events held on church property and helps satisfy church vendor insurance requirements. Overall, this specialized coverage helps create a clearer separation of risk, making it easier for churches to host third-party events with greater confidence.
Affordable Liability Coverage for Third Parties
A TULIP policy lets the third party renting your church obtain low-cost general liability coverage that protects both your church and the outside group from claims tied to their use of the premises.
One-Time Event Coverage
One-time coverage works as special event insurance for churches, covering parties, banquets, baptisms, dances, fundraisers, and more so organizers, participants, and your church can host these events without worrying about potential liabilities.
Recurring Event Coverage
Recurring coverage works as church facility rental insurance, with ongoing protection for meetings, sewing groups, Bible studies, and other regular gatherings hosted by a third party, including events with vendors. This keeps liability coverage continuous for the full duration of those gatherings.
