One-time event coverage for various events – including parties, banquets, baptisms, dances, fundraisers, and more – ensures that organizers, participants, and your church can host these events without concerns about potential liabilities.

Recurring Event Coverage

Recurring event coverage offers ongoing protection for meetings, sewing groups, Bible studies, and other regular gatherings hosted by a third party. This type of insurance ensures continuous liability coverage for the duration of these events.

Does TULIP coverage apply to all third-party events and activities?

TULIP coverage does not apply to certain events and activities, such as, but not limited to:

  • Carnival Rides
  • Day Care Operations
  • Events involving athletics **
  • Events involving ‘BYOB’ (Bring your own booze/bottle)
  • Events in or on water
  • Events involving hip-hop, rap, and/or alternative music
  • Events involving recreational vehicles
  • Events organized or operated by professional promoters/performers
  • Events with more than 1,000 in attendance **
  • Events more than 9 consecutive days **
  • Fireworks and firework displays
  • Gun/Knife Shows
  • Haunted attractions and/or mazes
  • Historical Battle Reenactments
  • Parades **
  • Rides, mechanical amusement devices, inflatable recreational devices, dunk tanks, and bungee operations/equipment **
  • Rodeos including but not limited to Bull Riding, Bronco Riding, Roping Activities, Barrel Racing, etc.

Coverage is subject to approval by Philadelphia Insurance Group.

It protects our church and the user, and it is accomplished in a simple, supporting way.

TULIP, for varied scenarios, protects churches. I believe in testing and using the services with which you are involved. It’s a good test to see if we “walk the talk.” Based on our church’s work, as validated by our church’s office staff, I recommend using TULIP without reservation.
